What Is a Barcode Printer (Label Printer)?

Types of Barcode Printer for Jewellery Labels
Thermal Transfer Printer
Requires Wax Resin or Resin Ribbon — produces the sharpest, most durable barcodes on PP labels. Recommended for gold and jewellery shops.
Direct Thermal Printer
No ribbon required — prints directly onto heat-sensitive labels. Simpler and lower cost, but print quality may fade over time.
